Blog post - 1.2.1-rc1

After long time waiting, here is the first release candidate for the next release of CallWeaver (1.2.1).

Most important things:

added support for TCP/TLS and SRTP (documentation, [r5358]) sample config inthe source.

requires spandsp 0.0.6pre7

bug fixes

You can try it by using svn (svn co http://svn.callweaver.org/callweaver/tags/1.2.1-rc1)

Blog post - Linux Call Router project supports chan_lcr for Callweaver

The Linux Call Router Project has added support for CallWeaver into
the chan_lcr channel driver.

LCR is the userspace frontend for the new mISDNv2 (socket branch)
ISDN (BRI/PRI) driver that is also now part of linux kernel >= 2.6.27

Hey guys,

We are planning on releasing CW 1.2.0.2 around the first week of July.
This is mostly a maintenance release with bug fixes and a few new features. An option to install the CW sounds will be provided as well.

I’ve created a 1.2.0.2 milestone, so if you have a ticket that you
think needs to be included in this release, please change the target
to 1.2.0.2.

We’ll also be holding a mee…

As some/most of you may of noticed, there was a problem with the original release of CW 1.2.0 (involving sqlite).
If you encountered it or just want to stay current, please download this version instead.
This version also includes a few other bug-fixes. (view the ChangeLog )

Blog post - The First Official Release of CallWeaver 1.2.0!

It has been a long road to finally get here, but its been worth the wait.
CallWeaver 1.2.0 is the result of countless hours of work and testing. It
is very solid and feature-rich.

CW 1.2.0 requires at least SpanDSP 0.0.5pre3 to work. You can find it here:
http://www.soft-switch.org/downloads/spandsp/ View the README for more information.

Without further delay, you can download CW 1.2.0 here…

CallWeaver 1.2.0-RC5 is now released an can be found at http://devs.callweaver.org/release/callweaver-1.2.0-rc5.tar.gz or http://devs.callweaver.org/release/callweaver-1.2.0-rc5.tar.bz2. Some known bugs still exist, but the new code now allows for all three modes of T.38 (Gateway, Endpoint and Passthrough) quite stably with most hardware. RC5 requires the latest spandsp library, currently 0.0.4…

Blog post - Trunk now needs Vale

We intend to use the Vale library, currently in development, for streaming media in Callweaver. The trunk code for Callweaver now requires this library be present, though at this time it is only used for a very few activities. The list will increase.

Vale canbe obtained from http://www.soft-switch.org/downloads/vale
